New Jewelry LLC. is pleased to announce the upcoming edition of New Jewelry TOKYO 2026, one of Japan’s largest designer jewelry events, taking place over three days from Friday, November 27 to Sunday, November 29, 2026.
Set in Aoyama, Tokyo, the event will bring together a curated lineup of designers and artists from Japan and abroad, alongside galleries, bookstores, and food counters. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to present and sell their work directly to the public.
The program also features a variety of engaging content, including the BEST JEWELRY PRIZE, awarded to selected exhibitors from approximately 130 participants, as well as live Instagram broadcasts capturing the energy and atmosphere of the venue.

About NJT
New Jewelry TOKYO
Launched in 2010, this event marks its 17th edition this year. Built on the founding concept of “See, Buy, Make, and Experience,” New Jewelry has established itself as an essential platform for discovering the current state of the jewelry industry.
In recent years, the event has grown to attract over 10,000 visitors across three days. At its core is a commitment to direct communication—offering designers and makers the opportunity to share the inspirations, techniques, and stories behind their work with audiences in person.
Through these exchanges, we continue to support and advance the development of jewelry culture in Japan.

* Please submit all application materials in Japanese. All communications after acceptance will also be conducted in Japanese, so applicants must be able to correspond in Japanese. Please note that the application form is also provided entirely in Japanese.

A high level of creativity and originality, free from conventional constraints. A clear concept or narrative is present, along with thoughtful innovation and development in technique.
2 | Alignment with the Philosophy of New Jewelry TOKYO
A strong alignment with the values of New Jewelry TOKYO, with an emphasis on expression and dialogue through jewelry, and a commitment to creating new value.
3 | Fashionability and Contemporary Relevance
A clear awareness of contemporary fashion and lifestyle, with proposals that reflect current sensibilities. A distinct aesthetic perspective and interpretation of trends are evident in the work.
4 | Sustainability and Potential for Growth as a Brand or Artist
A forward-looking vision for continued activity and development. Demonstrated potential for growth, along with the ability to communicate and expand as a brand or artist.
* Applications will be reviewed by multiple jurors based on the above criteria. The selection process is confidential.
* We regret that we are unable to respond to individual inquiries regarding the selection process.

Exhibition fees vary depending on the area, as well as the type and size of the table selected.If you wish to apply for two booths, the total fee will be twice the standard exhibition fee.

* Payments may be made from separate bank accounts for each brand.

While there is no sales commission payable to the NJT Office, a venue commission of 5% + tax on total sales will be charged by the event venue.
Payment Process:
- Each exhibitor submits daily sales reports via a designated Google Form provided in advance.
- After the event, the NJT Office issues an invoice to each exhibitor.
- Exhibitors transfer 5% of their total sales (including tax) to the NJT Office.
- The NJT Office makes a consolidated payment to the venue.
* The venue commission applies to all exhibitors and is mandatory.
About Venue
The event will take place at a multi-purpose cultural complex located in Aoyama, Tokyo. All event spaces across the 1st to 3rd floors will be utilized.

Notes
- Tables and table covers will be provided by the NJT Office (see reference images).
- Lighting will be evenly installed across all booths. Additional lighting is not available. If you wish to use tabletop lighting, only rechargeable LED lights may be brought in. Please note that no power supply will be provided to individual booths.
- Wall display (posters) is permitted only in the 3F Hall. (Limited to one A3-sized poster per booth; no other decorations are allowed.) Placement details will be provided at a later date. All posters are subject to prior approval by the director. If you wish to display a poster, please submit it to the NJT Office by the designated deadline.
- Power outlets will be available at a ratio of approximately one per 10–12 booths.
- Booth locations will be assigned by the NJT Office.
- At least one designer or staff member must be present at the booth at all times during the event.

Payment Methods
Payments are to be handled directly at each exhibitor’s booth. Please ensure that you have your own payment system or terminal prepared. (Exhibitor ↔ Customer)
Recent Payment Trends:
Credit Cards 65% > Cash 25% > E-money 10%
* While it is recommended to accept both credit cards and cash, an increasing number of exhibitors in recent years operate with e-money–only payment options.
Wi-Fi & Internet Access
Wi-Fi is not provided by the NJT Office. While Wi-Fi may be available at the venue, it is often unstable or congested due to high usage.
We strongly recommend that each exhibitor prepare their own internet access, such as a pocket Wi-Fi device or mobile tethering.
Cancellation Policy After Payment
In the event that the exhibition is canceled due to government directives or venue-related circumstances, refunds will be issued as follows:
– 100% refund of the exhibition fee if canceled up to 90 days prior to the event
– 30% refund of the exhibition fee if canceled up to 70 days prior to the event
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after this period.
If a government-mandated suspension of operations is announced during the event, the exhibition will be discontinued; however, no refunds of the exhibition fee will be provided.
In the case of exhibitor-initiated cancellations, including those due to unavoidable circumstances (such as natural disasters or physical/mental health conditions), the same refund policy as outlined above will apply.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to other reasons or beyond the specified deadlines.
* Bank transfer fees associated with refunds will be borne by the exhibitor.

Q:What is the visitor profile?
Visitors range in age from their 20s to 60s. In addition to those with a strong interest in jewelry and fashion, the event attracts a wide and diverse audience across various fields and interests.
Q:Will buyers and press attend the event?
A:New Jewelry TOKYO is primarily a consumer-facing sales event; however, it also attracts a significant number of buyers and press professionals throughout the exhibition period. The event has become a platform where new business opportunities and collaborations are actively generated on-site.
Attending buyers include representatives from major department stores and select shops across Japan, such as Isetan Mitsukoshi (including Isetan Shinjuku and Ginza Mitsukoshi), Takashimaya, Daimaru Matsuzakaya, Matsuya Ginza, Hankyu Department Stores, as well as lifestyle and specialty retailers like CIBONE and SFT (Welcome Co., Ltd.), BARNEYS NEW YORK, LUMINE (including NEWoMan), Tomorrowland, United Arrows, BEAMS, H.P. Q:Is participation required for all three days?
A:Participation for all three days is mandatory. Booth operations must be managed by the designer or at least one staff member throughout the entire duration of the event.
Q:Can agencies, trading companies, or manufacturers apply?
A:Yes, applications from agencies, trading companies, and manufacturers are accepted.
Q:Is joint exhibition allowed?
A:Joint exhibitions by multiple exhibitors are permitted.
For exhibitions with three or more brands, the application will be treated as a group exhibition, and booth signage will display only the group name (collective name).
For exhibitions with two brands, exhibiting under a group name is also possible. If you wish to display both brand names side by side, an additional fee of ¥55000 (tax included) will be charged.
(This fee covers costs such as production and installation of additional signage, PR support for the additional brand, and other related expenses.)
* Payments may be made separately from each brand’s bank account.
Q:Are there any discounts for booking multiple booths (e.g., two or three booths)?
A:No, there are no discounts for booking multiple booths.
Q:Are student exhibitors eligible to apply?
A:Yes, student exhibitors are eligible to apply.
Q:Is it mandatory to have an Instagram or other social media account at the time of application?
A:It is not mandatory; however, starting from this edition, submitting images of your work at the time of application is no longer required.
Instead, the selection process will be based on materials such as your official website and social media, where we review your works and past exhibitions. Therefore, we strongly recommend updating your online platforms as much as possible prior to applying.
Q:Can I apply if my brand has not yet been officially launched at the time of application?
A:Yes, you may apply. However, you will be required to submit additional materials (such as release documents) that allow for proper evaluation during the selection process.

Q:Can brands other than jewelry brands apply to exhibit?
A:Exhibitors from fields other than jewelry are welcome, provided the category has strong affinity with jewelry. This includes fashion accessories, nail art, books, lifestyle goods, and similar disciplines.
Q:Can I use grants or subsidies to cover the exhibition fee?
A:Yes, this is possible. Please refer to the official website of your local municipality or relevant authority for details on available grants and subsidies.
* Please note that the NJT Office will only issue an invoice and a receipt. No other supporting documents will be provided. Any documents required for applications or claims must be prepared by the exhibitor at their own responsibility.
* Invoices and receipts will be issued in PDF format and sent via email. Please note that printed copies will not be provided by mail.
Q:Can overseas brands apply to exhibit?
A:Yes, overseas brands are welcome to apply.
Please note that applications are accepted in Japanese only. The NJT Office will not issue any documents other than invoices and receipts; therefore, arrangements such as carnets must be handled by the exhibitor.
Invoices and receipts will be issued in PDF format and sent via email. Please note that printed copies will not be provided by mail.
Q:Can I bring my own fixtures or display equipment?
A:Only in the 3F Hall. If you wish to bring your own fixtures or display equipment, please indicate this in the remarks section of your application.
After passing the selection process, we will review photos and details of the fixtures and inform you whether their use is permitted.
Q:Do exhibitors need to provide their own credit card payment terminals?
A:At this event, all financial transactions with customers must be handled directly by exhibitors. Accordingly, exhibitors are required to prepare their own credit card payment terminals and related payment systems.

Q:Can exhibitors sell products other than jewelry?
A:Yes. If jewelry is the main focus of your presentation, you may also offer items such as objects or fashion accessories for sale.
Q:Is immediate sales required for all products?
A:Pre-order (made-to-order) sales are also permitted. However, exhibitors are responsible for managing all operations related to post-event communication and product delivery, including the proper collection and handling of customer personal information under their own management system.
Q:What activities are allowed at the booth besides product sales?
A:Individual custom orders, live demonstrations of production, Instagram Live / live commerce (please prepare all necessary equipment yourself), and promotional campaigns for customers are all permitted at the booth.
